Vendor load-in, honestly
For a wedding-scale event, a vendor list — caterer, décor, entertainment, rentals, coordinator — is due 30 days out (14 days for a smaller day-pass event). Equipment can arrive on the event day itself, or the day before once check-in time has passed, and must be fully removed before 10 AM on checkout day, no exceptions. Kitchen access during the event is limited to catering staff, and the main house interior — bedrooms, private lounges — stays off-limits to event guests and vendors. Everything runs through us: we coordinate directly with your planner, caterer, and other vendors rather than leaving them to figure out the property cold.
How the planning flow works
- Inquiry — tell us your date, guest count, and what you're picturing.
- Personal quote — every event is priced for what you're actually doing; there's no instant online booking for events.
- Written event agreement — required before any date is confirmed, no exceptions.
- Deposit — a refundable security deposit (typically $1,000, standard across bookings), returned within days after the event, plus the event fee per your payment schedule.
- Event day — we keep staff on site from the start of setup until teardown is complete.

How many guests can Casa Nakhla's terrace actually hold?+
Up to 60 guests on the tent-ready terrace, with the exact number for your date agreed in writing in your event agreement.
Is the pool usable during our event?+
It's open for photos and guest circulation beforehand, but closed to swimming from 5 PM on the event day (or the moment setup begins, whichever comes first) until teardown is finished — no staging or pool covers over it either.
How much parking is there for an event?+
Up to 12 vehicles inside the gated property. If you expect more, let us know at least 14 days out and we'll arrange off-site overflow parking.
What's the actual booking process for an event?+
Inquiry, a personal quote, a written event agreement (always required — there are no unapproved events), a deposit, then your date. Events are never booked instantly online.
