How many guests can Casa Nakhla sleep?
The villa sleeps 11 guests in 5 bedrooms and 8 beds, with 4 bathrooms. For bigger family trips we host up to 16 guests using quality air mattresses ($50 per extra guest per night after 11). It's one of the largest private vacation rentals on Puerto Rico's northwest coast — about 10,000 sq ft.
Can we host a wedding, quinceañera or baby shower at the villa?
Yes — Casa Nakhla is a private oceanview event venue for weddings, quinceañeras, baby showers, birthdays, anniversaries and photo shoots, hosting up to 60 guests on the tent-ready terrace with the Atlantic as your backdrop. Our Celebration Package bundles a 4-day/3-night stay for 11 with the event itself. Events are quoted personally and always require written approval.
Can we rent the villa just for a day, without staying overnight?
Yes. Our Family Day Escape gives you daytime use of the entire estate — heated pool with waterslide, hot tub, outdoor bar, grill and terraces — for $1,000 per day. It's the easiest family escape on the island: no packing, just come up the hill.
Does the villa have a private pool?
Yes — a private heated pool with its own full-size waterslide and a kiddie splash zone, plus a 24-hour terrace hot tub and an outdoor rain shower. It's exclusively yours during your stay; nothing is shared with other guests.
What happens if the power or water goes out in Puerto Rico?
Nothing changes for you. Casa Nakhla runs a whole-house generator with roughly 72 hours of propane autonomy and a 1,000-gallon water reserve, plus fast Starlink internet. Island outages never touch your vacation — one of the biggest reasons guests pick us.
Where is Casa Nakhla, and how far are the beaches and airports?
We sit in the hills of Camuy on Puerto Rico's quiet northwest coast, with 180° Atlantic views. Local beaches like Playa Peñón Brusi are about 10 minutes away, the famous Río Camuy Cave Park is 15 minutes, surf-town Jobos Beach in Isabela is 30 minutes, Aguadilla airport (BQN) is 40 minutes and San Juan (SJU) about 1 hour 20.

How do payments work?
We keep it personal and simple: Venmo, Zelle, PayPal or ATH Móvil, with one-tap prefilled payment buttons on your private stay page. A $1,000 refundable damage deposit is part of every regular booking and is returned within days after checkout.
Is booking direct safe?
Yes — every booking includes automatic ID verification (ID scan + selfie face-match through our verification partner), a legally e-signed rental agreement with document hash and audit trail, instant email confirmation, and your own private stay portal with a 24/7 AI concierge.
Are pets allowed?
Yes, pets are welcome with prior written approval — just tell us who's coming when you book.
What are check-in and checkout times?
Self check-in with a smart door lock any time after 4:00 PM, whatever hour you arrive; checkout is 10:00 AM. Your personal door code is delivered on your stay page and by email about 3 days before arrival. Early check-in and late checkout are available on request.
Can I work remotely from the villa?
Comfortably. Fast Starlink Wi-Fi with ethernet throughout, dedicated desk space, and the generator means you never drop a call. Several guests have run full work weeks from the ocean-view balconies.
Is there parking and an EV charger?
Free gated parking for 8 cars plus a garage, and a Tesla Level-2 EV charger on site.
